The changing shape of the Pine Bed

We have seen the Pine Bed move from a standard laquered fancy headboard in a Victorian style through Edwardian style knicker - rail Beds which were always laquered or hand waxed to more modern 'Manhatten' style slatted head and footboards to deliciously cream painted country style pine beds and rustic beds with thick chunky slatted or solid headboards. Our Gothic Beds are enjoying a resurgence in popularity and our sheesham beds are modern and contemporary. The pine bed has changed so much in character that it is unrecoginsable from the early eighties laquered reproductions.
