Once purchased, your pine furniture is quite easily looked after just by following a few basic rules. Do not use any spray products on the wood just simply apply a coat of wax every few months on well used surfaces to preserve the appearance. To clean just wipe over with a dry or very slightly damp lint free cloth. Use mats to avoid heat marks and wipe any liquids off straight away. Most accidental marks can be removed by gently rubbing some wax in with a fine grade wire wool or by simply applying some wax with a cloth. Wax is avilable to use on all pine furniture by the tin from the shop or by mail order. It is priced at £8.99 a tin.
